Securing the Future in Kekopey

Improving Educational Opportunities for Kenyan Students.

TSI is working in partnership to improve educational opportunities for more than 1,000 students studying at Kekopey Secondary School in Kenya.

The school is currently operating out of temporary buildings next to the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in an area of the Rift Valley lacking good, affordable secondary education.

UK charity Harambee Schools Kenya (HSK) are rebuilding Kekopey, with over 60,000 raised towards their 110,000 target so far.

TSI's donation of a series of safes to store computers and other resources is preventing the theft of teaching equipment and materials, safeguarding children's education and allowing HSK to focus on development, rather than maintenance, of school facilities.

The lead partner for the project, media company UBM - who organise IFSEC International are coordinating donations of both money and goods including furniture, sports and music equipment and clothing - from their customers and suppliers, for five of HSK's supported schools.
