    How TSI Entered The World of Fire.

    Who doesn’t understand the importance of Fire System Services these days? Here at TSI we gained BAFE accreditation, adding fire to our extensive portfolio in 2022.

    We are proud to be fully NSI Gold BAFE accredited for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarms. Our systems are fully certificated and compliant to provide you peace of mind.

    But what influenced this decision?

    Our CEO, Peter said: “We regularly received requests from clients asking us if we could provide fire protection services, but felt we lacked the certification and resources to truly deliver to our own high standards.”

    “A decision was made to seriously commit to providing Fire Protection Services and that meant recruiting an experienced team to deliver the services, external and internal training to drive standards, but most importantly committing to the business gaining BAFE accreditation in the four areas key to us; design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.

    “As a company we were proud to be able to present our BAFE accreditation, as third-party accreditation is essential to prove competency, which equates to our NSI Gold accreditation for intruder alarms, CCTV and access control, but more importantly it helps provide you with piece of mind that you are receiving the best advice on fire and guarantee the highest standard of installation and aftercare sales”



    Why is a BAFE certificate important?

    To us and we believe for you, it’s simple, it reduces your risk. This certificated evidence demonstrates due diligence in sourcing a competent organisation to help conform to your own fire safety obligations.

    Success and Progression 

    The certification process was intense, but with the input of some key members of the team we were able to meet our goals. Since then, they have set about developing and expanding the fire division and striving every day to deliver to our clients.

    We’ve seen a good steady growth throughout the business since we gained our certifications for our alarms, but more importantly we have had positive feedback from our clients on both the quality of our work and benefit of adding fire to our product range.

    Finally on our progression, we’ve seen our Apprenticeship scheme expand and now seek to employ Apprentices with an ambition to specialise in Fire Systems.

    The fact we provide a full range of fire and security services mean that when we go to survey a property, we can identify the risks and talk to the client about their concerns.
